Best practices in education can be described as practices or innovations by educators that address the educational needs of students and promote high achievement. They exemplify the requirements of the core curriculum and attainment standards and should have some measure of assessment.

The development of indigenous multimedia packages is paramount to any teaching/ learning environment. We all learn differently and administrators should encourage their staff to utilize a variety of media to support the several learning styles they encounter in the classroom. The advantage of using different media is that they contain information in printed format such as activity books, diagrams as well as VHS tapes, audio tapes or DVDs.

The ultimate goal of recent workshops is to empower educators/administrators in lesson preparation and delivery using ICT to enable students to actively participate in the teaching & learning process. Here teachers of Phase 2 schools are engaged in preparing technology enriched lessons which will be tested in their respective schools.

This example of best practices is motivation for the teacher as well as the students. Administration at this school encourages students and teachers to excel to their maximum capacity.
